Requirements:

AceCP, Inc. must have a web site that at least presents the basics of a brochure site for view by potential clients. Without a site, a technology services company might as well not exist.

The first project is the borrow from the former Kraai Consulting web site, strip out anything that doesn't apply, add information that is unique to the AceCP corporate entity, receive approval from the board and investors, and publish it as fast as possible.

Success Measure:

An approved site is accessible to the Internet public.

Choosing a WCM for AceCP

Requirements:

A Content Management focused organization should eat it's own dog food. To enable all the features that will end up in the site, a Content Management system and a Portal is a necessity.

The second project will focus on a full evaluation of the top current WCM systems on the market project. A product will be chosen based on budget and features.

Success Measure:

The choice of a WCM is made, the software is acquired, the infrastructure is designed/sized and installed, the WCM is up and running.

Rolling the Home Page into the WCM

Requirements:

The Home page is the first page everyone looking for AceCP sees. It needs to be simple, informative, and engaging. It will also have to have a simple and obvious path to the expanding features of the site for Intranet/Extranet (Security) and other features.

The third project will focus on pulling the site into the WCM and setting up the features that make up the Home Page with expansion for the full feature set built in.

Success Measure:

The site is running in the WCM and the Home Page has the features specified in the Business Requirements.

Adding in the services, papers, and descriptions that promote AceCP Services

Requirements:

To promote the services and products that AceCP sells, a simple brochure site is not enough. The full AceCP site, when completed, will provide customers with articles, papers, comparisons, and other material that will help them in making ECM choices and highlight the expertise that AceCP brings to the table.

The fourth project rolls out content management knowledge base information on the services and products offered by AceCP.

Success Measure:

The services and products offered by AceCP are fully demonstrated in a searchable, simple, and leading topology.

Building the Knowledge Base for registered customers with general access to specific items

Requirements:

Truly providing the education to our customers means sharing information and creating a community that customers can rely on for good information and help.

The fifth project is to roll in some basic Social media in an approach that engages customers, employees, and the public. Employees are encouraged to blog about the projects they work on. Forums are available for customers to post questions, comments, and product experiences. Wiki pages are posted to provide definitions, terms, product descriptions, and other information for the ECM industry. Pertinent (and summarized/analyzed) news articles are consolidated and provided to the public.

Success Measure:

The added social media features are measured by customer, employee, and public use and enrollment.

Building out of the Customer and Employee Portal

Requirements:

One way to provide value add to both Customers and Employees is to provide a login to a portal that provides customers with information on their projects, invoices, and payments and employees with information on their benefits, compensation, and other documentation.

The sixth project is tie the existing Collaboration Suite to the site through a Portal and expose secure access to information that customers and employees wish to know about their time with AceCP. In addition, provide an avenue or special forum for feedback on the Extranet features and information.

Success Measure:

The successful measure of this Extranet feature is found through use, buyin, and feedback from customers and employees.

Supporting Mobile Devices

Requirements:

All features will be designed in a way that will allow minimal refactoring to format for mobile devices.

The seventh project is to put in place CSS and other design features to support a series of mobile devices and browsers.

Success Measure:

The successful roll out of Mobile support is measured by the ability for any employee or customer to access the site through their phone in a visible readable manner. Mobile access statistics are taken to measure adoption.
